Valentines Day Gift Ideas
Summary
Lets be honest, we are all living in some crazy (uncertain) times right now. Valentine’s Day, however, is a nice time to shower your sweety with something nice; no gesture is ever too small. A day like Valentine’s Day does not warrant a crazy expensive or extravagant gift. Nevertheless it should NOT go unnoticed; unless you are looking to be on time out for the night. Unquestionably there will be some of us who will opt for the last minute bottle of wine, chocolates, or flowers. In any case, getting something more tangible and personable shows intention, attentiveness and thoughtfulness.
I will try to encompass all things from skin care to music. Comfy to glam. Basic to bougee. There is something I feel for everyone. All in all when picking the items for this gift guide I followed the K.I.S.S rule. For those of us that aren’t familiar, it stands for K (keep), I (it), S (simple), S (stupid). That is in no way to offend anyone, it is only to say that simplicity is often the key element to happiness.

The mini fridge, if you have the counter space for it is a genius gift idea. Most everyone right now are using some kind of skincare product. This really makes for a nice present for the skin junkie in your life. It maintains your moisturizers, serums, skin rollers nice and cold and ready for us. These can create a nice soothing feel to the skin which is ultimately what you want when apply such products to your face. FUN FACT: When I first saw these advertised I thought it was for booze. Secretly wanted one to put my High Noon’s in my beauty room. #shameless
SWAROVSKI Tennis Deluxe Crystal Bracelet

This one will gain you some extra brownie points, okay. Some of us alike are aware that tennis bracelets remotely close to something like this one can go for thousands of dollars (in this economy, I do not think so Satan). The SWAROVSKI tennis bracelet brings all the brilliance and elegance with a much smaller price tag. 10/10 recommend.
Colleen Hoover- It Starts With Us
Surprisingly, I have not personally gotten on the bandwagon to start this book series. But, that does not mean I cannot recommend it as I have heard nothing but great things. Many of my friends are completely obsessed with Collen Hoover books. Of course, Amazon has you cover if you want to gift this to a book worm in your life who wants to get into it. It is also offered as an audiobook.
Vanity Mirror with wireless speaker
Get your makeup ready because we are going for glam! Sometimes we do not have the luxury of a large vanity or care for the extravagant lights. This compact mirror has LED light as well as a wireless speaker feature. Makes getting ready even more fun. For the beauty lover in your life, this will be the ultimate gift.
REDUCE 40 oz Tumbler
If your significant others proposition was drink more H2O in 2023, this will be a very efficient gift idea. The Stanley Cup tumblers have been all the rage as of recent. So much so, that the pricing on them on Amazon are ranging anywhere from$60-$80. Even if you go to DICKS sporting goods they are at minimum $40. That is absolutely ridiculous. Personally, I own a REDUCE tumbler and cannot spot any feature the Stanley Cup has over this. It is a spot on dupe.
JW PEI Handbag
The chic, girly girl who loves to flaunt on a budget will appreciate this trendy hobo style handbag. Indeed I own this bag and was pleasantly surprised with it when I received it. The quality of the handbag. The ruching detail, almost scrunchy like handle gives it that edgy vibe. This bag also comes in an array of colors and even textures. It has good amount of space inside for your belongings. This is another one of those gift ideas that will carry through spring and summer.
Cheese Board
Generally, this gift idea goes beyond Valentine’s Day. This is a great gift for housewarming, engagements, and birthdays. There is a need for a cheese board in every household. Whether you entertain often or not, when you do, it is a very presentable way to display snacks to your guests. Charcuterie boards were very much trending in 2021-2022 and may carry to 2023. But, if you are someone who does not have the time or talent to layout such a display, a cheese board will save you!
Wine Dispenser Pump
In any fashion, I accept this gift for myself. As I have noted, many of the gift suggestions I am making go above and beyond use from just Valentine’s Day. A friendly suggestion, if you have a wine drinker at home I would pair this gift with that bottle of wine you wanted to pick up from the Publix Liquor store on the way home from work. Amazon has a way of luring you to products you never needed until you have it, the rest is history.
JBL Partybox Speaker
Ultimately, this is a larger more splurge item but my gosh we love this in my household. I bought this for my husband and to be fair, I believe my kids have enjoyed it more than him. You can constantly have a house party of any size. One huge thing to consider is this speaker, like most JBL speakers, is very loud. Buy at your own risk. Especially, if you live in an apartment.

Michele Apple Watch Band
Being that I am kind of bougee, I personally love this idea for a gift. In recent months I have been wearing my Apple watch on a daily basis. Undoubtably, the rubberized bands are practical but not always fashionable. This is also a way to get a Michele “watch” for much less. This has to be the favorite gift idea I found when researching. They come in duo gold combinations as well as solid gold tones. The brand also provides solid color bands. Check it out! This one is on my me-to-me gift wish list.
SKIMS
Is the brand SKIMS overrated and overhyped you ask? Well yes, yes it is. In like fashion, is the brand worth it? We seem to think so. Also, this is a win/win situation where you get to admire how nice the curves look in the dress. If there is one thing the Kardashians know is how to strut the curves, honey. These are expensive okay. Solely because it’s from SKIMS they will go bat s*** crazy. Trust!

If by any chance your significant other is a neutrals fan, skip Nike and go for these On “Cloud 5 Running Shoes” from Nordstrom. Many raved reviews of the functionality of these sneakers and the color palette is a stunner. It worth trying out. The price point is more or less equivalent to more namely brands.

Originally, I had scooped this gift idea up for my girls because it seems like such an entertainment piece. But after really thinking about it, this is such a great gift idea for a wider population of people. If you are a person or couple who host a lot of date-nights with friends having this compact pizza oven can be a great addition to those type of nights. If you have a family with kids it is genius to put your little chefs to make there own dinners on say a weekend. If you usually have family over and are in a pitch this would make fabulous flatbreads or mini appetizer pizzas.
Bracha
To many this may seem like something that was so two years ago but in fact, I sense initial necklace are still very much a desirable item. Now fellas, if you and your significant other have been together for more than 5 years I do not suggest any jeweler coming from you that is not an engagement ring. Take it from me, stay far away from gift jewelry boxes; even more so if this is accompanied by a fancy dinner or flowers. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Jo Malone
Although this fragrance by Jo Malone is marketed as a “cologne”, I feel all of their perfumes are pretty unisex. This one in particular I own and love the smell to. It is not overly masculine from the wood or tropical from the sea salt notes. Its notes as stated on the Nordstrom site are: Top Note (ambrette seed), Heart Note (sea salt), and Base Note (sage). Together this makes for a great, soft and unique everyday fragrance. Bonus, the bottle looks great on a vanity table or tray.

You may be thinking: Dianne there is no way she may be able to get this done before Valentines Day. You might just be correct. Conversely, she has amazing customer service and will respond to your DM’s quickly and kindly. As shown above, the style and size of these bags make it perfect for any daytime occasion. For instance, to brunch, the beach, a boat day or vacation bag. Anything personalized in my opinion shows a lot of thought and intent. Also, it does not break the bank. 10/10 recommend.
